Destinations

The continent of Africa consists of 54 diverse and unique countries. With more than a dozen to see great wildlife, Africa is truly a year around destination.

A popular first-time safari destination, Kenya evokes the power and romance of travel with unpretentious ease, and really enters the soul.

Kenya

Tanzania

East Africa is where the concept of safari travel was born in the 1850s, and Tanzania is still one of the flagship destinations. Its reserves are famous for their abundant wildlife and home to Africa’s “Big 5” (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino).

Rwanda has the largest remaining single tract of montane forest anywhere in East and Central Africa and it boasts three national parks, including Volcanoes, home to the mountain gorillas – arguably one of the top animal sighting privileges in the world.

Rwanda

Uganda

Uganda is nicknamed the “Pearl of Africa” because of its incredible greenery, mountains, lakes, and greatest natural treasure of all – half of the world’s last remaining mountain gorilla population.

Botswana

Landlocked, it is a country of diverse and mesmerising landscapes – from the watery byways of the Delta, to the semi-arid expanses of the Makgadikgadi saltpans, to the sandveld of the Kalahari.

With the Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, on the southern border, Zambia lends itself to some compelling circuit itineraries, combining excellent wildlife, action & adventure and spectacular landscapes.

Zambia

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is the stuff of historic travelling legend, typifying the romance of Africa. However it is by no means limited to its iconic highlights of Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and Mana Pools but is a country with an enormously varied offering.

South Africa

Often described as “a world in one country” South Africa indeed boasts more than its fair share of the finer things to be found on this planet. Its natural assets lend itself both to classic ‘big five’ safari and to either breath-taking, remote coastal experiences or an evolved, cool beach scene.
