Summer 2016

Introducing Peter’s Wildlife Safaris

This year is moving quickly and it’s been a busy one so far!  I’ve recently returned from Botswana and South Africa, am heading back to Kenya this week to lead a private safari.  Over the summer I’ve developed a new brand and changed the name of my business.  It’s not a radical departure, but probably more accurately describes what I do and my mission.  I am excited to announce:

For me, it’s life’s experiences that really make our lives rich.  If you’ve ever wanted to experience an African safari, I want to help you “Capture the Experience” in whatever manner that means to you. For example, an African experience might mean:

  • Viewing the magnificent wildlife
  • Learning about conservation efforts to protect these animals
  • Photographing Africa’s animals and culture
  • The wonderful experience of travel
  • Crossing one more item off that long bucket list
  • Enjoying one of life’s special events on safari
  • Taking a balloon ride over the Serengeti

Whatever “experience” means to you, I want to make it easy and simple for you to have that experience.

If 2017 is your year for a safari, now is the time to book it!

Below are some photos from our recent trip to Botswana and South Africa.  To see more photos check out the “Recently Added” tab on our page.

In Madikwe, South Africa, this Brown Hyena tried to move in on the African Wild Dogs’ meal and the dogs weren’t going to allow him to take their breakfast.
The main reason for our trip to the Chobe River in Botswana was to see the elephants swim the Chobe River.  It was an amazing sight to witness.
The leopard of Sabi Sand, South Africa were rather elusive during our visit, but we did manage to see brief glimpses of three different leopards including this mom and cub.
Once the elephants crossed the Chobe River, they started giving themselves dust baths on the bank of the river.
Mom and dad were trying to nap while the youngster played.

Stay tuned for our new website and photos from my upcoming Kenya safari where I will be visiting Tsavo National Park (the home of Satao), Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu National Reserve and the Masai Mara for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra.

Regards,

Peter
